However, this time, with the help of my guide, I was able to experience the rich culture and history of Tibet. The four-day trip was short, but every moment was unforgettable.

I went on a 4-day package tour with Tibet Horizon. Prior to our arrival in Lhasa a few days ago, the company had completed customs clearance procedures smoothly. Upon our arrival in Lhasa, we met our guide. Over the following days, our guide showed us around some of the region's characteristic architecture and introduced us to Tibetan Buddhism, such as the Potala Palace and some historical temples, which gave us insight into the history and culture of Lhasa. We also got to sample the local food, including yak butter tea, I really enjoyed it. Although the trip was short, I would love to visit other places in Tibet if I have the chance, and Tibet Horizon will be my first choice next time.

We got invited to join in their traditional dances and songs, and they even treated us to some mouth-watering traditional grub. It was like diving headfirst into the heart of their culture, you know? I rarely leave reviews, but I am truly satisfied with my six-day trip to Tibet, so I want to write a review for Tibet Horizon to provide some reference for those who want to travel to Tibet. Before departure, the company helped us handle the Tibet Travel Permit and mailed it to our hotel. When we arrived in Lhasa by train, the driver and guide were already waiting for us at the station. Upon arrival at the plateau, one might feel a bit uncomfortable, but our guide was clearly experienced, and with his advice, our altitude sickness was alleviated. Over the next two days, we visited various temples and the Potala Palace in Lhasa. It felt surreal, like standing at the intersection of history and reality, with one side being the present and the other the past. In the following two days, we visited the beautiful Namtso Lake and enjoyed hot springs, which was very relaxing. On the last day, we boarded the return train with six-day unforgettable memory. I am very grateful to our guide, who patiently answered all our questions and organized the itinerary efficiently. I also liked our driver, who always smiled at us. I will miss these lovely people.

The Lhalu Wetland Park is home to 62 species of rare birds, including black-necked cranes, grey cranes, ruddy shelducks, bar-headed geese, and red-billed gulls. I was particularly fascinated by the bar-headed geese, with their distinctive black-striped heads. Though they appear clumsy, they can run quite fast. Additionally, Mr. Tashi Wangyal guided me along the banks of the Lhasa River, where I participated in traditional festival activities and experienced the local folk culture. The next day, he took me to the Potala Palace. Inside, I was amazed by the numerous precious statues, murals, thangkas, scriptures, and other religious and historical artifacts. Towards the end of our trip, we traveled to the lower-altitude region of Nyingchi. This section of the road had almost no straight lines, consisting entirely of sharp curves and hairpin bends, with steep terrain and narrow paths. Combined with the unpredictable weather of the Tibetan plateau, driving through this segment was a thrilling experience for all of us. After overcoming numerous challenges, we finally arrived in a paradise on earth - Nyingchi, Tibet. The autumnal valleys of Lulang Forest were blanketed with a riot of colorful leaves, creating a picturesque scene. Cattle and sheep grazed leisurely on the golden grasslands of the pastures.
