Week-long Journey through Tibetan Plateau with Natural and Cultural Immersion

My 7-day Lhasa Everest Base Camp Kathmandu overland small group tour with fellow travelers was an unforgettable expedition, blending with cultural experiences and breathtaking natural landscapes. Starting in Lhasa, the cultural capital of Tibet, I was captivated by the Potala Palace, a fortress located at the heart of Lhasa. The Jokhang Temple, with its pilgrims and incense-filled air, invoked a sense of peace and reverence.

The highlight was undoubtedly the trip to the Everest Base Camp, where the towering peak of Mount Everest dominated the skyline. The weather was good. We were lucky to see the Milky Way and sunrise over the world’s highest peak. As we ventured into Kathmandu, the drive was smooth and we enjoyed the beautiful scenery along the way. Our friendly driver and guide send us to the Gyirong Port where I entered Nepal for my trip in Kathmandu. The arrangement was seamless.
