  • Mr. Lukas from Germany, asked on June 17th, 2024

    Flight from Germany to Lanzhou

We plan to travel to Tibet by train. Is there a direct flight from Germany to Lanzhou? If not, what's the most convenient way to travel?

Mr. Tseten Namgyal from Tibet Horizon, answered on June 17th, 2024

Dear Lukas, thank you for extending your question to us!

Currently, there is no direct flight from Germany to Lanzhou. However, you can reach Lanzhou by taking a flight to a major city in China, such as Beijing, Shanghai, or Chengdu, and then transfer to a domestic flight to Lanzhou. For instance, from Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, and Düsseldorf, there are direct flights to Beijing , and from Frankfurt, there are direct flights to Chengdu. Once you are in one of these cities, you can find connecting flights to Lanzhou.

Please note that flight schedules and ticket prices can vary, so it's recommended to check with airlines or travel agencies for the most up-to-date information. Additionally, when planning your trip, consider the time needed for potential layovers and transfers between flights. If you have further questions or need any assistance in planning your trip or booking tickets, feel free to contact us.
