  • Mrs. Murphy from Australia , asked on July 14th, 2024

Choosing Different Transportation Modes to Tibet from Xining in One Trip

Hi! My children and I want to fly to Lhasa directly, but my husband wants to experience a train journey. Is it possible for him to a Xining-Lhasa train and we fly to Lhasa the next day and we can join each other on the following tour in Tibet?

Mr. Tseten Namgyal from Tibet Horizon, answered on July 14th, 2024

Dear Murphy, thank you for extending your question to us!

Absolutely, it's possible to accommodate both preferences in your Tibet tour. We can arrange for you and your children to take a direct flight to Lhasa, while your husband enjoys the scenic journey on the Xining-Lhasa train. Given the train's arrival time in Lhasa, we can plan your flight to ensure that it lands the following day, allowing for a smooth meeting point.

Once in Lhasa, we can organize a private vehicle to pick up your husband from the train station and bring him to your hotel, where you'll all be staying. From there, you can join the rest of the tour together. Our team will ensure that all logistics are taken care of, including the train ticket for your husband and the flight tickets for you and the children, as well as the transfer arrangements in Lhasa.

This way, each of you can enjoy the travel experience that suits you best, and then share the rest of the journey and the memorable moments exploring Tibet's cultural and natural wonders as a family. Our goal is to provide a personalized and seamless experience for all our clients, and we're more than happy to accommodate your family's unique travel preferences. If you have further questions, feel free to contact us!
