Secondly, the dining car on the train offers a variety of beverage options, including bottled water, carbonated
drinks, juice, etc., for passengers to purchase individually or drink with meals. But the price is slightly
higher than that of ordinary convenience stores.
Thirdly, the train staff push the food trolley and sell drinks and snacks. You can purchase the drinks you need
without leaving your seats, which is very convenient.
Notice:
1) You can also prepare enough bottled water or drinks before getting on Tibet train.
2) Drinking alcohol is not recommended on the trains to Tibet as it can aggravate symptoms of altitude sickness.
Tibet trains are equipped with a reliable hot water supply system to meet passengers' basic needs during the long journeys through the plateau. Each train carriage typically has a public hot water dispenser where passengers can collect their own hot water. The 24-hour hot water is free to use and is close to boiling point. Please be careful when collecting the hot water and do not drink it directly to avoid burns.

1) Please note that you should bring your own thermos or kettle; disposable cups are not provided.
2) There may be queues at hot water supply points during peak hours such as before and after meals, in the morning
and evening. You can use the water at off-peak times and prepare in advance to ensure that the hot water is
available whenever you need it.
