Luggage Depository on Tibet Train

Luggage Depository in Soft Sleeper Cabin

Soft sleeper cabin is comparatively larger than other cabins and there are more places for passengers to deposit their luggage. You can put your luggage on the luggage closet above the door in each soft sleeper compartment, or on the luggage rack above the window by the aisle side. And there is also a place for luggage to deposit under the lower bunks. Please put your luggage under the lower bunks to prevent falling down if your luggage is large. Passengers should keep those personal items, identity documents, train tickets, and valuable personal belongings with them.

Luggage Depository in Hard Sleeper Cabin

If you are going to stay in the hard sleeper cabin, you will share the space with other 5 people. Thus, the space for luggage storage will be limited. You only have two places to deposit your luggage. You can put your luggage on the luggage rack above the window by the aisle side or put them under the lower bunks. Large or heavy suitcases are not suggested to put on the luggage rack above the window as well. It is best to keep your personal items, identity documents, train tickets, and valuable articles in a carry-on bag.

Luggage Depository in Hard Seat Cabin

Hard seat cabins are the cheapest cabins on Tibet trains. But the space is very crowded, which will be very tired and uncomfortable for passengers to travel. The only place that is designed for passengers to put their luggage is the luggage racks above the windows on either side of the carriages. However, you can also put the small luggage under your seat. But the space may be not enough to put suitcases because of the oxygen outlets. So, for long-distance travel, such as Tibet train tours, we do not recommend tourists to try hard seat cabins. So, as a reliable Tibet Tour Agency, we will try our best to make sure that you can purchase the tickets for sleeper cabins.
