Romantic 8-Day Tibet Honeymoon: From Lhasa to Everest

This 8-day group tour to Tibet was part of our honeymoon, and looking back, I'm so glad I made the decision. Initially, I was a little worried about altitude sickness, but traveling with a group proved to be much less stressful. During our first two days in Lhasa, our guide reminded us to slow down, drink plenty of hot water, and thoughtfully provided oxygen tanks, helping us quickly acclimate to the plateau.

Arriving at Everest Base Camp, it was incredibly cold that night. We bundled up in thick down jackets and waited for the sunset together. Seeing the golden sunlight shimmer across the summit of Everest was truly worth all the bumpy ride and hardship. That evening, we spent time chatting with other travelers in our tents and drinking hot butter tea. The atmosphere was incredibly warm. The entire trip not only afforded us stunning views of Tibet but also left us with many sweet memories.
