8 Days in Tibet: Lhasa, Yamdrok Lake & Everest Base Camp

I took an 8-day group tour from Lhasa to Yamdrok Lake and Everest Base Camp, and it was an unforgettable experience! The itinerary was well-organized, giving me ample time to acclimate to the plateau. The waters of Yamdrok Lake were even bluer than in photos, shimmering in the sunlight. I even saw yaks and Tibetan antelopes along the way, feeling like I was stepping into the real life of Tibet. Everest Base Camp was breathtaking; the chilly morning breeze and the sunrise against the backdrop of the snow-capped mountains were unforgettable. The guide was also very attentive throughout the trip, and the team atmosphere was great. Everyone shared the scenery and interesting stories along the way, making the trip even more heartwarming and enjoyable.
