Five-Star Review for the 8-Day Kathmandu Overland to Lhasa Journey

Our Tibet journey started in Kathmandu, and the scenic drive across the Himalayas to Lhasa was nothing short of breathtaking. The landscapes were stunning, and our driver was skilled and cautious, making us feel safe and comfortable throughout the trip. We visit to Mt. Everest, watching the sunset over Everest. And although we didn't stay overnight at the 5200m EBC tent, the day visit was perfectly managed and exhilarating. On the fifth day of our trip, we arrived in Lhasa. In Lhasa City, the visit to the historic Potala Palace was a profound experience. It was incredible to see the traditional home of the Dalai Lama up close and learn about its rich history. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to share fascinating insights about Tibetan culture and history. Their passion for the region was evident and added a lot of value to our experience. It was the Tibet Horizon's attention to detail and personal care that made this trip truly special.
