We had an amazing 8-day family trip from Lhasa to Everest Base Camp. While traveling with the kids, we were a bit nervous at first about the altitude and road conditions, but everything was handled professionally. Our guide was knowledgeable, patient, and great with children—always checking in on how we felt and ensuring we were comfortable.
The itinerary was well-paced, with just the right mix of sightseeing, rest, and driving. From the Potala Palace to Yamdrok Lake, Shigatse, and finally Everest Base Camp, every stop was breathtaking. Seeing the sunrise over Mount Everest together as a family was something we will never forget.
