The short trip to Lhasa and Lake Yamdrok filled me with memories of Tibet. Although it was only five days, it was like a baptism of the soul. The first time I stood in front of the Potala Palace, I was deeply shocked; walking in Barkhor Street, I felt the piety and rhythm of life of the Tibetans; Lake Yamdrok was clear, surrounded by snow-capped mountains, and the scenery was breathtaking. The itinerary was very reasonable, giving us a full day to take pictures and enjoy the scenery without feeling rushed.
Although this trip was short, it left me with the most profound impression of Tibet and made me more determined to come again in the future. Tibet is worth visiting many times, and each time you will gain something different.
