As a solo traveler and passionate photographer, I was thrilled with every moment of this journey. From the start, Tibet Horizon’s service was impeccable. The tour kicked off with a visit to Jokhang Temple, the most sacred temple in Tibet. The energy there was palpable, and I felt deeply connected to the spiritual atmosphere. Staying overnight at EBC was another highlight. Watching the sunset and sunrise over Mt. Everest was a surreal experience. I set up my camera and managed to capture some stunning photos that I’ll cherish forever. The scenery at two sacred lakes was breathtaking. I spent hours just sitting by the lakes, soaking in the beauty and tranquility.

A unique part of this tour was visiting the Kingdom Ruins. It felt like stepping back in time, and guide’s stories about the history and mysteries of the kingdom added so much depth to the experience. The 3-day kora around Mt. Kailash on the full moon day was the most spiritual part of the trip. Joining the pilgrims and sharing this profound journey was incredibly moving. I even made a few friends among the pilgrims who taught me traditional songs and prayers. Tibet Horizon’s meticulous planning and warm hospitality made this trip unforgettable.
