17-Day Spiritual Adventure Across Tibet: Lhasa-EBC-Kailash-Guge Kingdom

Our trip started in Lhasa, visited the Potala Palace, the Jokhang Temple, the Sera and Drepung Monastery. Our fabulous guide Tenzin Jamphel and the experienced driver led us safely from Lhasa to West Tibet. We saw the Yamdrok Lake, the Tashilumpo Monanstery, the Karola Glacier, and the EBC with the Rongbuk Monanstery. After one week we reached Darchen, where we started the 3 Day Kora around the holy mountain Kailash together with many local pilgrims. These 3 days were very hard, because of the lack of oxygen but very spiritual and I will never forget this experience and the cordial meetings with locals.

After sunrise at Mansarovar Lake, we went to Zanda with the Guge kingdom ruins and the Tholing Monastery. Finally, we ended our journey perfectly with a visit to Sakya Monastery and Tashilhunpo Monastery.
