A Journey of Faith across the Himalayas

This journey of faith through the Himalayas provided me with an unprecedented opportunity to explore the soul of Tibet. Starting in Lhasa, the ancient center of Tibetan Buddhism, I was mesmerized by the golden roofs and deep history of the Potala Palace. Later, as we climbed toward Everest Base Camp, the landscape changed and the snow-capped peak of Everest was breathtaking, both literally and figuratively. The journey reached its spiritual climax at Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar. Here, amidst the stark beauty of the highlands, pilgrims from around the world circumambulate Mount Kailash, their footprints weaving a tapestry of faith that spans millennia. The tranquil turquoise waters of Lake Mansarovar, reflecting the sky and set against the backdrop of the majestic Himalayas, seemed to offer me a moment of quiet contemplation. I felt that this trip had reconnected me with nature.
