9-Day Tibet Journey: Exploring Lhasa, Everest & Namtso Lake

This trip was unforgettable! In Lhasa, we visited the Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple, felt the sacredness of Tibetan Buddhism, and gained a deep understanding of the city's history and beliefs. Then, we went to Shigatse. The scenery along the way was endless. The driver was skilled. Although the journey was long, it was very safe and comfortable.

Arriving at the Everest Base Camp was the most shocking experience of this trip. The weather was perfect, and we were lucky to see the true face of Mount Everest. The white and majestic snow-capped peak seemed to be within reach, which was awe-inspiring. The only regret was that we could not stay in the Everest Tent Guestroom.

The last stop was Namtso Lake, which is one of the most beautiful lakes I have ever seen. The holy lake under the blue sky and white clouds is quiet and pure, as if entering another world. Sitting quietly by the lake for a while, there is a feeling of being purified by the soul.
