Old Tingri to Everest Camp Base Trek

This classic trekking route usually takes 4 days from Old Tingri to Rongbuk Monastery and then arrives at EBC. Mt. Kailash Trek

The famous Mt.Kailash Kora Trek is the challenging trekking tour in Tibet, but also one of the most spiritual pilgrimages in the world. The whole trekking journey will take 3 days from the village of Darchen and end at the same place. The average altitude of this trek will be up to 5,000 meters above the sea level with the highest point of 5,630m at Drolma La Pass. So, not everyone is suitable to take this trek, especially for those who are inexperienced in trekking and hiking. But this world-famous trekking tour will reward those adventurous trekkers every minute on the road.

Ganden Monastery to Samye Monastery Trek

Trekking from Ganden to Samye is considered as one of the most popular trek tours in Tibet because it will take tourists to travel from the most famous monasteries in Tibet. Ganden Monastery is the primary monastery of the Gelug School of Tibetan Buddhism, while Samye Monastery if the first Buddhist Monastery in Tibet, which makes this trek tour a meaningful one for those who are interested in Tibetan Buddhism. The whole trekking route lasts about 80 kilometers, which will take about 4 days for trekkers to finish. Lake Manasarovar Kora Trek

Situated in far western Tibet, Lake Manasarovar is one of the great three sacred lakes in Tibet and also one of the highest freshwater lakes in the world. Covering a distance about 110 kilometers, the trek will take around 4-5 days for tourists to finish. If you decide to take this trekking tour around Lake Manasarovar, you need to know that the best time to do it is from May to June and September to Mid-October. But you still need to prepare for all kinds of weather on the road. Some trekkers who have finished this tour suggested that the finest view of the Kora would be the views from the hilltop monasteries of Gossul and Chui Monasteries.

Shalu to Nartang Trek

With a distance of 45 kilometers from Shalu Monastery to Nartang Monastery, this trekking tour is the perfect short route in Tibet for tourists who have little trekking experience. Shalu Monastery is located 20 kilometers southeast of Shigatse with an altitude of 3,980 meters, while Nartang Monastery is 15 kilometers west of Shigatse with an altitude of 5,000 meters. According to the physical condition of tourists, the whole trekking tour can stretch for 3 days or even 4 days.

Tsurphu to Yangpachen Trek
