Seda is Open on Aug.5th, 2022, but Foreigners can Travel to Seda Temporarily

Since August 5, 2022, online booking system was opened fir the Serang Wuming Buddhist College and the sky burial platform. All visitors can make an appointment in the Wechat small program "Cloud Seda".

Notice for Viewing Time

1. The viewing point has a daily limit of 3200 visitors (including 1400 people in the morning to Mandala, 1000 people to the sky burial platform and 800 people in the night to Mandala).

2. Shuttle Bus Boarding location: Luoruo Town tourist center.

3. Morning bus time to Mandala: 07:30-10:30, viewing deadline: 12:00;
Bus boarding time to the sky burial platform: 10:30-12:30, viewing deadline: 15:00;
Night bus time to Mandala: 17:00-19:00, viewing deadline: 21:00.

Notice for Reservation

1. Visitors must make an appointment on the "Cloud Seda" reservation system 24 hours in advance.

2. Foreigners and visitors from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan are not allowed to visit Seda.

3. On site and group appointments are not accepted.

4. Please provide your real name, contact information, second-generation ID card number and other information.

5. Each ID number can only book 2 time periods and 2 viewing items per day.

6. After successful reservation, the system will automatically send the QR code of successful reservation. Please save it properly.

7. At present, reservations can only be made through the above channels.

Notice for Viewing

1. Viewing route of Mandala: Luoruo Town Tourist Center - Zhiqinggou - Mandala - a fire observation post beside the Sleeping Buddha Hall (return along the original route).

2. Viewing route of the sky burial platform: Luoruo Town tourist Center - celestial burial platform.

3. Visitors are not allowed to enter the temple, or enter the Sutra hall orto interfere with the normal study of monks and jueme; Do not participate in religious activities in the valley; It is not allowed to rent, borrow or stay in the valley.

4. Social vehicles are not allowed to enter. Please park your private cars in the parking lots of Luoruo Town, and the visitors will take the shuttle bus in the tourist center of Luoruo town.

5. The access conditions of Luoruo Tourist Center will be dynamically adjusted according to the national, provincial and state epidemic prevention and control situation.

6. Children under 1.2mmust be escorted by their parents without appointment, but they must comply with the relevant requirements of epidemic prevention and control.

Precautions before Visiting

1. Double green codes+ 48h nucleic acid report.It is recommended to do another nucleic acid test in Seda county. Nucleic acid test points: People's Hospital of Seda county and integrity square of Seda County.

2. You must make an appointment a few days in advance. If the reservation quota is full on that day, it will no longer accept an appointment.

3. Don't try to sneak in. All the pathyou can find are guarded. If you are caught by the staff, you will be severely punished.

4. Make sure to book a hotel in advance. Seda is really popular these days. If you don't book a hotel in advance, there may be no place to stay.

5. In the trial operation stage, there are a large number of tourists every day. In order to avoid running in vain due to flow restriction, it is suggested to queue up 2 hoursin advance.

6. Tourists who want to see the night scene must prepare thick coats. The sea level of the Buddhist Academy is between 4000-4200 meters, and the temperature is very low and the wind is very strong at night. It is recommended to wear thick coats and hats.

Precautions in the Buddhist School

1. There are many religious buildings in the Tibetan area, such as temples and white pagodas. You can't climb them. When visiting the temples, you should turn clockwise instead of turning or walking in the opposite direction.

2. It is generally forbidden to take photos in the temple. Remember not to wear hats and sunglasses when entering the temple. Don't touch the Dharma tools and Buddha statues in the main hall with your hands or point them with your fingers.

3. It is not allowed to take photos of Tibetans casually. It is better to ask before taking photos and take photos after getting consent.

4. When visiting temples, women should avoid wearing loose skirts and too short skirts, and their tops should not be exposed.

5. In the temple, if you want to extinguish the flame of Tibetan incense and butter lamp, you should put it out by hand instead of blowing it by mouth.

Equipment Introduction

1. Due to strong ultraviolet radiation, strong wind and large temperature difference between day and night on the plateau, you must bring sunglasses, hats, rain gear, non slip shoes and warm clothes (long sleeve T-shirts, thin coats, scarves or shawls, stockings, etc.)

2. Local people are vegetarian. It is recommended to prepare their own meat or spices. Please respect local customs and do not eat in public.

3. Prepare some cash. Many small shops in the Buddhist Academy only accept cash.
