ContentOn Aug.7, 2022, during normalized nucleic acid test in Pulan County, Ali Prefecture, 4 Covid-19 nucleic acid test positive persons were found. They are all from Shigatse city.
On Aug.8, 2022, 18 Covid-19 nucleic acid test positive persons were found in key personnel in Lhasa.
According to the official website of the health commission of the Tibet Autonomous Region, as of 24:00 on August 6, there had been no new confirmed or suspected cases in Tibet for 920 days. Previously, there was a confirmed case in Tibet: on January 29, 2020, Zhang, who came to Tibet from Hubei Province, became the first confirmed case of COVID-19 in Tibet.
