How to Get to Tibet from Xi’an

Taking Qinghai-Tibet Trains or flights to Lhasa are the major two options for Xi’an expats to get to Tibet. If you have enough time, you can take the train to Lhasa and enjoy the scenery along the railway. If you want to save time for your tour in Tibet, you can take a flight to Lhasa from Xi’an.

Train Z265 from Guangzhou will stop at Xian Train Station at 09:46 daily. It departs Xi’an at 09:54 after 8 minutes and arrives in Lhasa at 15:45 on the second day.
