  • Mr. Lima from Brazil, asked on April 24th, 2024

Best Time to Travel to Yunnan and Tibet

Hi! My family is considering a trip in southwestern China, visiting Yunnan and Tibet. What's the best time to join a trip covering these two cities?

Mr. Karma from Tibet Horizon, answered on April 24th, 2024

Dear Highmore, I'm glad to hear that your family is considering a trip to the beautiful southwestern region of China, including Yunnan and Tibet. Typically, the best time for a trip covering Yunnan and Tibet would be in late spring and early autumn (April to June and September to October), offering a balance of comfortable weather, accessibility, and cultural experiences. Spring offers blooming flowers and pleasant weather in Yunnan, while in Tibet, the temperatures are gradually rising, and the natural scenery starts to become lush. Autumn is considered the most comfortable season in both regions, with clear weather and beautiful fall colors, especially in Yunnan's diverse landscapes. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact us. I hope you can have a wonderful trip in southwestern China!
