Our journey from Urumqi to Lhasa via Xining was spectacular. After a comfortable flight from Urumqi to Xining, we boarded the train to Lhasa. The scenic train ride through the Tibetan Plateau was mesmerizing, with breathtaking views of vast landscapes and snow-capped mountains. In Lhasa, exploring the Potala Palace and the serene Yamdrok Lake was enchanting. Our road trip to Shigatse offered more stunning vistas, and reaching Everest Base Camp was the ultimate highlight—standing before the world’s highest peak was an awe-inspiring experience.
