This 12-day group tour to Tibet completely changed my perception of this land. The scenery, architecture, and lifestyle here are entirely different from Poland. The Potala Palace in Lhasa is magnificent, and the prayer wheels on the streets and the prayer flags fluttering in the temples all conveyed a profound religious atmosphere. The vast Yamdrok Lake, the majestic Mount Everest, and the sacred Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar that I encountered along the way deeply moved me. Finally, upon arriving in Kathmandu, I experienced a completely different and exotic culture.
