Shigatse Peace Airport is the only airport in Shigatse that offers service to tourists who wish to take a flight from other major cities in China. However, only the city of Chengdu, Xi'an, and Chongqing have direct flights to connect tourists with Shigatse. And the flight schedule will be rescheduled sometimes. Tourists need to check the latest schedule before planning a Shigatse trip. Those direct flights make it possible to fly to Shigatse and then travel to Lhasa or other places in Tibet.
