Best Lhasa EBC Namtso Tour: A Chance to Explore Tibetan Culture in Shoton Festival

I’ve traveled extensively on a slow path to explore local customs, history, and culture. I decided to travel to Tibet and I wanted to explore Tibetan culture as well, so I chose this Shoton Festival limited tour with Tibet Horizon. It was amazing as I witnessed the opening of Buddha unfolding at Drepung Monastery and ate yogurt served with Tibetan barley cake. This trip covered Yamdrok and Namtso, two sacred lakes with their legends, allowing me to enjoy the breathtaking views of clean waters and snowy mountains while hearing stories from our guide. By the way, our guide is knowledgeable. He shared many local tales and customs with us. I’m glad that I chose this trip with TH because they planned the itinerary very well.
