Guide’s knowledge of Tibetan culture and history added a rich layer to the journey, making each site visit even more meaningful. As a history buff, I was thrilled by the rich cultural heritage and historical sites. The Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple in Lhasa were fascinating. Walking through these historical treasures gave me chills and a deep appreciation for Tibetan culture. The 3-day trek around Mt. Kailash was a tough journey, but the sense of accomplishment I felt was immense. I even made friends with a group of locals who shared their snacks and stories with me, which added a personal touch to the adventure. Seeing the sacred lakes was a spiritual experience. I felt a profound peace standing by the water, watching the reflections of the mountains. The drive along the G219 Tibet Xinjiang Highway was long but absolutely worth it. Reaching the edge of the desert was like being in a different era This trip was an incredible blend of adventure, spirituality, and history.
