  • Mrs. Pastorelli from Italy, asked on May 16th, 2024

    Shangri-La-Chongqing Direct Train Available?

Hello, we’re planning a Tibet trip combined with other cities like cities in Yunnan and Chongqing. From Shangri-La to Chongqing, is any direct train or flight available?

Mr. Tashi Wangyal from Tibet Horizon, answered on May 16th, 2024

Dear Patorelli, thank you for extending your question to us!

From Shangri-La to Chongqing, you have options for both flights and trains. For flights, you can find one direct flight CZ2608. However, there’s no direct train running between these two cities. If you prefer to travel by train, you will need to transfer at least once. You can take a train from Shangri-La to Kunming and then transfer to another train heading to Chongqing. Please note that travel times and options may vary depending on the season and availability, so it's recommended to check the latest information with the transportation providers or through official ticket booking platforms.

If you have further questions or need help in booking ticket, feel free to contact us!
