A Wonderful Journey: From Old Tingri Town to the Everest Base Camp

My trekking experience in Tibet has been incredibly satisfying and pleasantly surprising. Despite we had made extensive preparations for this trek, I hadn't anticipated experiencing altitude sickness during the initial two days, feeling somewhat under the weather. Thankfully, our guide demonstrated exceptional professionalism in handling such situations, enabling me to quickly acclimate and continue our journey through the Tibetan landscape. As someone who has trekked various terrains, exploring Tibet not only held profound significance but also posed remarkable challenges, yielding even greater rewards. Throughout the journey, I encountered breathtaking landscapes, each leaving an indelible mark on my memory. Among them, spending a night at the Everest Base Camp at 5200 meters stands out prominently. Gazing at the Milky Way from this altitude was a transcendent experience, forging a profound connection with the universe, etching itself as one of the most unforgettable moments of my life. I am immensely grateful to our guide, who exhibited remarkable attentiveness, responsibility, and profound knowledge of Tibet's cultural and natural wonders.
