Not Only a Sightseeing Train Tour, But Also a Soul-stirring Exploration in Tibet

This 12-day journey from Chongqing to Lhasa was not just a trip, but a profound journey through both the landscapes of Tibet and the passages of my own life. As someone who has always harbored a deep fascination with history and culture, visiting the historic wonders of the Potala Palace and the revered Jokhang Temple felt like a dream come true. These sites, steeped in centuries of tradition and spirituality, resonated with me on a personal level, reminding me of the importance of connecting with our roots. However, it was the challenges and triumphs of the journey itself that truly shaped my experience. As a retiree, I initially had concerns about the physical demands of the trip, especially the visit to Everest Base Camp. Yet, with the guidance and support of our dedicated tour guides, I found myself pushing beyond my limits, both physically and emotionally.
