Lhasa, Everest & Gyirong: A Journey of a Lifetime

From the moment we were picked up at the Lhasa airport, our trip to Tibet went smoothly. We visited the Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple, where our guide provided a detailed and impressive explanation of Tibetan history and culture. The most memorable part was undoubtedly Everest Base Camp-the sunrise in the morning was truly unforgettable. We also visited Rongbuk Monastery, the highest monastery on the north slope of Mount Everest, which was serene and sacred. On the way to Gyirong, we also enjoyed breathtaking views of the border. We also sampled exceptional Tibetan cuisine throughout the trip. I particularly enjoyed the butter tea and yak beef dishes!
