Nine Days of Unparalleled Cycling Experience in Lhasa and Yamdrok Lake

This nine-day biking trip with Tibet Horizon is absolutely fantastic with so many breathtaking scenery and first-hand experience with the local people and culture. Lhasa is a city of rich Buddhist culture and vibrant local life. The grand Potala Palace, majestic Jokhang Temple, solemn monasteries and dynamic Barkhor Street, together constitute a vivid picture of Lhasa city. Then I headed to the holy Yamdrok Lake, during which I stopped by some of the most authentic Tibetan villages and interacted with the locals. The most exciting part of the biking tour was the moment when I saw Yamdrok Lake from different viewpoints. The lake is veritably a mix of natural wonders, whose beauty is beyond description. The whole journey was filled with adventure, excitement, and awe with the attentive guides and team. It is a place worth visiting again and again.
