From Lhasa to Mount Kailash: A Perfect 10-Day Spiritual Journey

Overall, I was very satisfied with the 10-day Lhasa-Everest-Mount Kailash-Lake Mansarovar group tour. The itinerary was compact yet well-paced, balancing altitude acclimatization with showcasing Tibet's most classic and breathtaking natural and cultural landscapes.

Starting in Lhasa, I gradually acclimatized to the altitude, passing through Shigatse and Everest Base Camp. The scenery progressed in layers, especially the breathtaking sunrise at Everest. The subsequent journey to Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar was a visual feast and also a spiritual cleansing. The sacred atmosphere of Kailash and the tranquil purity of Mansarovar brought the entire trip to its climax. Furthermore, the trip was relatively short, making it perfect for someone like me with limited vacation time.
