Although a 12-day trip may not seem long, it was not short. Yet, it left us with unforgettable memories. The scenery along the way was breathtaking: the majestic Potala Palace in Lhasa, the bustling yet tranquil Barkhor Street, all exuding a rich Tibetan cultural atmosphere; the snow-capped mountains and glaciers of Everest Base Camp were awe-inspiring; the sacredness of Mount Kailash and the reflection of Lake Mansarovar in its waters brought us immense peace. Everywhere we went was a new world; this pristine land gave us a completely new understanding of life and the natural world.
