  • Mr. Ang from Singapore, asked on March 5th, 2024

Tibet Permit for Nationalities with China Visa Waiver

Singapore passport holders get a visa waiver of up to 30 days in China, which means I do not apply for a visa of any sort (no visa on arrival, no electronic visa) if the visit is less than 31 days. In this case, how do I get my Tibet permit without a China visa?

Mr. Tenzin Sherab from Tibet Horizon, answered on March 15th, 2024

Dear Ang, thank you for reaching out to us!

You're correct that Singaporean passport holders enjoy a visa waiver of up to 30 days in China. However, when traveling to Tibet, you will still need to obtain a Tibet Travel Permit in addition to having a valid passport. So the only thing you need to do is to provide us with a copy of your passport, and we will assist you in obtaining the Tibet Entry Travel Permit without any issues.

If you have any further questions or need assistance with obtaining your Tibet Travel Permit, please don't hesitate to contact us. We're here to help ensure that your trip to Tibet is smooth and hassle-free!
