Dreamlike Train Tour from Xining to Tibet: Lhasa+Shigatse+Everest

Starting this journey to Tibet was like stepping into a dream, perhaps beginning from the moment we boarded the train in Xining bound for Lhasa. As we embarked on the Qinghai-Tibet Train, we were greeted by a panorama of breathtaking scenery: snow-capped mountains, verdant meadows, and serene lakes. Despite the hours spent on the train, the ever-changing landscapes outside the window provided solace and inspiration. Upon arrival in Lhasa, we were warmly welcomed by our guide outside the station, marking the beginning of our nine-day adventure.

Over the course of our journey, we had the privilege of visiting iconic landmarks such as the majestic Potala Palace, where the rich history of Tibetan Buddhism came alive before our eyes. We explored ancient monasteries, each exuding its own aura of spirituality, and embarked on a pilgrimage to the sacred Yamdrok Lake, its turquoise waters shimmering in the sunlight. One of the highlights of our trip was undoubtedly our visit to Mount Everest Base Camp. As we stood in awe of the world's highest peak, watching the sunset cast hues of orange and pink upon its towering summit, we were reminded of the sheer magnificence of nature.
