Wonderful Himalayan Journey with Ganden Monastery and Drak Yerpa

My journey through the Himalayas, starting from Kathmandu to Lhasa and culminating in the Ganden Monastery and Drak Yerpa, was a wonderful experience. Beginning with a smooth transition to Tibet via Gyirong, we visited EBC, Tashilhunpo Monastery, and Lhasa city landmarks. After that, we went to Ganden Monastery and Drak Yerpa not far from the Lhasa City. Ganden Monastery, perched atop a mountain, offered not just a scenic view but also a profound sense of peace. There, I gained a deeper understanding of the Tibetan Buddhist philosophy. As I ventured through the meditation caves at Drak Yerpa, the natural beauty of the place provided the perfect backdrop for contemplation.

This tour perfectly blends with natural sightseeing and cultural exploration. The arrangement made by Tibet Horizon was great and our guide Mr. Tsering was kind and knowledgeable. I left with spiritual energy and a memory that will be cherished for a lifetime.
