Having visited Tibet in the summer a decade ago, I was eager to experience its winter charm this time around. However, I underestimated the severity of altitude sickness compared to my previous trip, so it took a good two to three days to acclimate properly. It's essential for everyone to be well-prepared and heed the guide's advice. Once adjusted, we explored various sites across Tibet, from the iconic Potala Palace to the serene shores of Yamdrok Lake.At Everest Base Camp, witnessing the sunrise and sunset was an experience beyond words. As the first light painted the towering peaks in hues of gold and pink, it felt as if time stood still, and we were witnessing a moment of pure magic. Andtreasurable when night fell, the sky transformed into a canvas of stars, with the Milky Way stretching across the heavens in all its celestial glory. Wrapped in blankets, we gazed in awe at the vastness of the universe, feeling infinitely small yet deeply connected to the cosmos. Despite the chill in the air, the clear skies offered stunning views of snow-capped mountains and unforgettable moments under the stars.
