We Had a Comfortable Trip in Tibet: Nyingchi + Bomi + Lhasa + Shigatse

After detailed planning with my family, we chose Tibet Horizon Travel Agency to start our journey to Tibet. Initially, we were quite worried, considering it's an unfamiliar and high-risk plateau region. Firstly, we were concerned about whether our bodies could handle the high altitude, and secondly, whether the travel agency could offer us a unique experience. In the past, when traveling to other countries, we often encountered irresponsible travel agencies and guides, sometimes paying in advance only to find no one available later. However, Tibet Horizon was different from other travel agencies for they were truly responsible and made us feel like family from the early preparations to the end of our trip. Our journey began in Chongqing, a famous mountain city where we tried the spicy hotpot—a taste sensation unlike any other. From Chongqing, we flew to Nyingchi, Tibet, where our guide, Mr. Tenzin Jamphel, was waiting for us at the airport and took us to the warm and comfortable Oxygen Hotel. Tibet is truly beautiful and we had never seen such breathtaking scenery before. From the sacred and serene Rakwa Tso to the mountainous landscapes, lakes, and grasslands of Lulang Forest, and the misty peaks of Mt. NamchaBarwa, each sight was a marvel. Standing at the Sejila Mountain Pass, we could take in the entire view of Mt. NamchaBarwa. Barkhor Street, encircling the Jokhang Temple, the majestic Potala Palace atop the mountain, and the azure waters of Yamdrok Lake—all were incredibly beautiful and picturesque. We are thankful to Tibet Horizon for giving us such an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend everyone to give them a try; they are truly a travel agency worth recommending.
