This 8-day Xinjiang trip to Kashgar, Turpan, and Urumqi not only offers a chance to appreciate beautiful sceneries but also allows us to see what the local life is like. In Kashgar Old City, for example, we thoroughly enjoyed wandering around this famous bazaar with its numerous different stalls. You can buy almost anything there from delicious snacks to dried fruits, nuts, cooking utensils and local-style clothes. We bought some traditional handicrafts. I really love it. I think it offered a glimpse into the local life.
