A Surprising Honeymoon Tour in Tibet: Nyingchi + Bomi + Lhasa

My husband and I chose to visit Tibet for our first trip as a married couple, spending a wonderful honeymoon there. Knowing my love for Tibet, my husband contacted Tibet Horizon to surprise me with this trip. We wandered through the misty Lulang Forest, where our guide took many beautiful photos of us. We enjoyed delicious stone-pot chicken and learned about the local customs and culture. At Basumtso Lake, we strolled along the shore, took a boat ride to admire the island and lakeside scenery, and visited Cuozong Temple on the island to soak in the religious atmosphere. On the fourth day, the guide showed us a different side of Tibet. We created memories at the spot featured on the 50-yuan note, and tasted Tibetan cuisine, including tsampa and butter tea, on Barkhor Street. The delicious butter tea, which the guide explained is great for warmth and health, left a lasting impression on me. This trip not only strengthened my bond with my husband but also deepened my appreciation for Chinese and Tibetan culture.
