Unique Travel Experience in Lhasa with a Tibetan Family Visit

Our 5-day Tibet trip went smoothly. I traveled with three children. The youngest one is 8 years old. Luckily, we had no problem adapting to the altitude in Lhasa. Our visits to Lhasa landmarks, including the renowned Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple give us an insight into Tibetan culture and history. I think letting kids learn some foreign cultures can cultivate their global vision and an open mind for cultural diversity. We spent a day staying with a Tibetan family. It’s a unique experience. We got to know what a local Tibetan’s daily life was and gained much knowledge about local customs. Mr. Passang Norbu, our friendly guide, helped us communicate with the locals. I really appreciate his efforts and profession. We couldn’t have had this enriching journey without him.
