I traveled to Tibet with my friends. We are all first-timers in Tibet, so we just chose a classic route to Lhasa and Yamdrok Lake. The trip is wonderful, showing us the majestic Tibetan architectural beauty and natural wonder. We felt the grandeur of Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Sera Monastery and Drepung Monastery. The unique style of building really impressed me. Then moving to Yamdrok, I was amazed by the tranquil lake. I rode yak on the grassland by the lake. It’s a lifetime chance! For first-time visitors who don’t have much time covering remote areas, I think this is the ideal trip. It captures the essence of Lhasa and reveals the spiritual and natural beauty of Tibet.
