Journey Through the Heartlands: Kathmandu to Mt. Kailash

This 19-day journey was simply beyond expectations, filled with surprises and heartfelt moments. Kathmandu's Nepalese culture left a profound impression on me with its rich history and diverse religious beliefs, broadening my horizons. Upon arriving in Lhasa, the grandeur of Potala Palace and the serene atmosphere of Jokhang Palace were awe-inspiring. The breathtaking views of the two lakes were simply breathtaking, offering a tranquility rarely found in urban settings. Exploring the ruins of the Guge Kingdom felt like stepping back in time, unraveling its mysterious history—a truly unique cultural experience. The most unforgettable part was the 3-day trek to Mt. Kailash, despite its challenges, the strong religious atmosphere and magnificent natural landscapes filled me with a sense of strength.
