From the moment we arrived in Kathmandu, our guide made us feel at home. He shared fascinating stories about Nepalese culture and went out of his way to recommend hidden gems in the city, like a small temple not usually visited by tourists. Raj’s thoughtful approach really set the tone for the rest of the journey. In Lhasa, our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Tibetan history. He managed to secure us a private audience with a monk at a temple for a special blessing ceremony, which was a deeply moving experience.
