Without a doubt, the 16-day trip I took through Nepal and Tibet stands as one of the most remarkable adventures I've ever embarked upon. The trip in Nepal was great. We went to several cities, all offering enjoyable experiences. Chitwan National Park was amazing. the subtropical forests teemed with a diverse array of animal species, unlike anything I've seen back home.
After a seamless transition into Tibet via the Gyirong Border, we continued our journey with a venture to the Everest Base Camp. Venturing to Everest Base Camp, I had the chance to appreciate the starry night sky and sunrise over Mt. Everest. It’s a lifetime chance! In Lhasa, we visited many renowned sites, gaining insights into the profound culture and deeply rooted religious beliefs. The Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Sera Monastery were not just historical landmarks but living testaments to the spiritual heart of Tibet.
Each day of this meticulously planned journey was filled with awe-inspiring moments, from the natural beauty of the Himalaya Mountains to the rich cultural heritages of the regions we visited. I really enjoyed this trip. Thanks to Tibet Horizon!
