Our journey began with the awe-inspiring Qinghai-Tibet Train ride from Xian to Lhasa. Despite the long hours, the scenic views along the way made every moment worthwhile. Upon arrival, our guide, Mr. Tashi Wangyal, welcomed us warmly and immediately made us feel at ease. His knowledge of Tibetan culture and history was impressive, and he went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable experience. One particular incident stands out: during our visit to Potala Palace, Mr. Tashi Wangyal noticed that my elderly mother was struggling with the stairs. Without hesitation, he offered her his arm and patiently assisted her throughout the tour, making sure she didn't miss a thing. Each destination on our itinerary left a lasting impression. The bustling streets of Lhasa, with visits to the iconic Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street, offered a glimpse into everyday life in Tibet. The serene beauty of Yamdok Lake and the grandeur of Mount Everest were simply breathtaking. Thanks in large part to the impeccable service provided by Mr. Tashi Wangyal and the rest of the team, our trip was unforgettable.
