A 10-Day Exploration of Lhasa, Nyingchi, Everest, and Namtso

I just completed a 10-day journey through Tibet. Although the trip was short, it covered amazing destinations like Nyingchi, Lhasa, Shigatse, Everest, and Namtso Lake. A huge thanks to Tibet Horizon for making this trip so memorable and seamless.

Our journey began in Nyingchi, which was different from what I had imagined Tibet to be. The lush, vibrant Lulang Forest showed me a side of Tibet full of life and beauty. Next, we headed to Lhasa, where I finally saw the legendary Potala Palace. The grandeur of the palace and the deep religious atmosphere left a lasting impression on me.

We then traveled to Shigatse, where the Tashilhunpo Monastery deepened my understanding of Tibet's rich cultural heritage. From Shigatse, we made our way to Everest Base Camp. The journey was challenging, and I experienced some altitude sickness. I’m so grateful to our guide for the advice and support that helped alleviate the symptoms, allowing me to complete this adventurous part of the trip. Finally, we reached Namtso Lake, where the serene beauty of the sacred lake brought a deep sense of peace to my soul.
