Special Culture in Tibet - Shoton Festival in Lhasa, EBC and Namtso

I have expected to experience Tibet during one of its most vibrant festivals-Shoton Festival-for a long time. So I came here and it didn’t disappoint me. This journey was filled with delightful surprises. The historic Potala Palace was as majestic as I imagined, and participating in the Shoton Festival at Drepung Monastery was a unique cultural immersion, highlighted by traditional Tibetan opera. Visiting the sacred Yamdrok Lake and Namtso Lake provided moments of serenity and awe. Witnessing the sunrise and sunset at Everest Base Camp was breathtaking.

Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, always ready to share fascinating insights. The driver was skilled, ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey. The accommodations arranged by him were comfortable, and the food was delicious, offering a taste of local cuisine.
