  Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu

  Activity: Pickup from Nepal airport

  Hotel: 3★/4★ hotel in Kathmandu

  On arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Our representative will greet you and transfer you to your Hotel. Evening there will be briefing about your Yatra.

  Day 2: Half Day Sightseeing & Fly to Nepalgunj

  Activity: Pickup from Nepal airport
  Meals: Breakfast
  Hotel: 3★/4★ hotel in Nepalgunj

  After breakfast, we will go to have a Darshan of Pashupatinath Temple and have puja over there. Then return back to hotel have a lunch and fly to Nepalgunj (1 hr fly) in the afternoon. Upon arrival at Nepalgunj, we will transfer you to the Hotel.

  Day 3: Nepalgunj-(aircraft)-Simikot-(helicopter)-Hilsa-(bus)-Taklakot

  Activity: Nepalgunj to Simikot: 1 hour (by Twin otter aircraft or Dronier aircraft with 18 seats); If the weather is not good in Simikot or en route to Simikot, the flight will be canceled.
  Simikot to Hilsa: 15 minutes by B2 (Euro copter) Helicopter with 5 or 6 seats.
  Hilsa to Sher trek: 10 minutes.
  Sher to Taklakot drive: 1 hour by bus

  Hotel: Overnight Hotel (triple sharing room with attached bathroom).

  Today, early in the morning you will fly Nepalgunj from to Simikot. The flight leaves at around 6.00 am, if the weather is clear in all places like Nepalgunj, en route, and Simikot. Delay by an hour or two is quite normal in this sector. So, passengers are requested not be panic. The flight requires about an hour to reach Simikot. Our teammate in Simikot will arrange a helicopter to fly to Hilsa (Nepal border). At Hilsa, you will cross the river by walking over a bridge to reach the opposite side, where you will complete the formalities at Nepal Immigration. From there, you walk across the border and our Tibetan tour guide will greet you with all the travel permits. Then, you will board our tourist bus, which will take you to the China Immigration Office, just a 5-minute drive away. Afterward, a brief 22-kilometer drive will bring you to your hotel in Taklakot (China border). Before arriving in Taklakot, you will go through the customs check at the Burang Customs Office.

  Day 4: Free Day for Acclimatization

  Activity: Acclimate the high altitude
  Meals: Breakfast
  Hotel: Overnight Hotel (triple sharing room with attached bathroom)

  Today you will rest in Taklakot (Purang) for acclimatization with light walking around Taklakot town to adjust your body with Tibet climate.

  Day 5: Purang – Lake Manasarovar (Chiu Gompa) 4,560M

  Activity: Lake Manasarovar
  Meals: Breakfast
  Hotel: Overnight Guesthouse OR similar (all dormitory room)

  After the early breakfast you will depart for Lake Manasarovar (4560 m- Chui Gompa). Today is the most important day of our trip because we will reach at our destionation Holy Mt. Kailash. The driving distance between Taklakot and Manasarovar is approximately 2 hours. On the way, we will take a short break in Rakshas Taal (Lake Ravana) to see the beautiful views of Rakshas Taal with back ground view of Holy Mount Kailash. Pilgrims can have a Puja & Havan at the homage to Mt. Kailash & Manasarovar as per their own religious way in Lake Manasarovar.

  Day 6: Mansarovar – Darchen (4750m)

  Hotel: Overnight at Hotel

  After morning breakfast you will drive towards Darchen. It is as known as base camp of Mt. Kailash. If the weather is clear you can see beautiful peak of holy mountain Kailash.

  Day 7: Darchen – Dirapuk (4,780m)

  Activity: Mount Kailash kora
  Meals: Breakfast
  Hotel: Overnight Guesthouse (basic accommodation with dormitory bed room)

  Today after your breakfast you will drive 10 km to Yam Dwar. It is auspicious gateway to the Parikrama (circuit) around the Mt. Kailash. From Yam Dwar, you can choose your travel route:
  Option1: capture the stunning view of Mount Kailash at Yam Dwar and then go back to Darchen
  Option2: start trekking from Yam Dwar to Diraphuk. The trail is quite easy and flat. You have to cross the river a couple of times, other than this, it is quite easy day. Roughly, you will be crossing 14 km today and it takes around 5 hours. On the next day, you can return from Dirapuk to Darchen or continue your Parikrama to Zutulpuk as follows.

  Day 8: Diraphuk – Dolma La Pass (5600 m)  Zutulpuk (4,780m)

  Hotel: Overnight Guesthouse (basic accommodation with dormitory bed room)

  Today is the tough day of this journey. The entire trail up to Dolma-La is ascending steepy cliff. The holiest water pool (glacial lake – Gauri Kunda) is just situated beyond the Dolma-La. This is the lake, people believe, where Parvati, the sole mate of Lord Shiva takes bath. From Dolma-La the trail rapidly descending to the valley floor (Zutulpuk).

  Day 9: Zutulpuk – Simikot-Finish Trek near Darchen & Drive back to Purang and continue exit to Hilsa/Simikot.

  Hotel: Overnight Stay at Guest House

  After breakfast, you will trek 2 hours to reach Darchen. Then you will catch the vehicle and drive back to Taklakot to cross the border. Once you completed both side immigration formalities you will walk about 10 minutes to reach Helipad at Hilsa and fly to Simikot.

  Day 10: Simikot - Nepalgunj - Kathmandu

  Early morning fly to Nepalgunj (1 hr) and same day fly back to Kathmandu (1 hr) in the connective flight.

  After the breakfast as per your flight schedule our representative will drop you to the Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward destination.
