Knows before You Book:

1. Book at least 20 days in advance so tour operator may apply for your Tibet Permit. Tibet Permit will be delivered to your delivery address / hotel address in one city of China.

2. Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level. Patients with serious hypertension, heart disease, asthma, bronchities, diabetes and cold should be restricted from going to Tibet.

3. Your airport/train station pick-up and drop-off in Lhasa need to be arranged by the tour supplier.

4. If you fly to Lhasa from Kathmandu, please do not apply for China L Visa in advance. You need to apply for Tibet Group Visa from China Embassy in Kathmandu via travel agency. If you have your China L Visa, it will be automatically expired when applying for Tibet Group Visa.

5. Price is based on double occupancy. Single room supplement is subject to availability and additional charge.

4. How to board Kathmandu to Lhasa flight?

1. Ensure you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport with plenty of time to spare, typically two hours before departure, with all the documents needed for flying to Lhasa.
2. Upon your arrival at the airport, find the check-in counter for your airline. You need to show your passport. together with China Group Visa to the clerk, and they will give you a boarding pass that shows the flight number, boarding time, boarding gate, destination, and seat number. If you have baggage to check, this should also be done during check-in.
3. Next, go through the security check and wait for your plane. Pay attention to the airport announcements or the latest updates on the screen so you don't miss your boarding time.
4. When boarding, you should show your boarding pass, passport and China Group Visa to the attendant at the boarding gate and find your assigned seat on the plane.
