    Alternative of Xi'an Lhasa Train

Hello! Staying on the train for over 30 hours must be tolerating for me. Is there any alternative mode?

Mr. Lhakpa Tsering from Tibet Horizon, answered on January 19th, 2024

Dear Rodriguez, thank you for extending your question to us.

There’s alternative choice to travel to Tibet, of course. The Xi’an to Lhasa train takes around 31 hours to cover the long distance. A much faster way to go to Tibet is taking a direct flight from Xi’an to Lhasa, which only takes 3hrs 15mins. Several airlines operate this route and you can take one that suits your schedule. You can tell your preferences to our professional travel consultants and they’ll work out a perfect itinerary for you.
